We may collect information you provide directly, including email address, nickname, birthday, avatar, profile details, memories, comments, messages, feedback, and other content you choose to upload or submit.
3. Photos and Camera
With your permission, U&Me may access the camera so you can take photos and may access your photo library so you can choose images for avatars, moments, or chat. We do not browse your library unless you grant permission or select media through the picker.
4. Location and Notifications
With your permission, location may be used for contextual memories or location-based features. Notifications may be used for likes, comments, messages, reminders, and important service updates. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings.
5. Device and Usage Data
We may process device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate region, identifiers, crash logs, diagnostics, and feature usage to keep U&Me secure, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve performance.
6. How We Use Information
We use information to create and manage accounts, enable profile and communication features, process uploads, sync memories, maintain safety, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, and improve U&Me.
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with providers that help operate U&Me, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, security, and customer support. We may also share information when required by law or with your consent.
8. Your Choices
You can manage app permissions in iOS Settings and choose what content you upload. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, or objection to certain processing of your personal information.
9. Retention and Security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide U&Me, maintain your account, resolve disputes, enforce rules, and meet legal requirements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
